Linda Seebantz

President

Linda Seebantz is a branding, marketing and communications expert with thirty years of experience that has been fueled by a passion for design. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she cut her teeth as a graphic designer, graduating from Milwaukee Area Technical College with two Associate Degrees; one in Printing and Publishing and the second in Commercial Art. After five years as a designer, Linda enrolled in Alverno College and while working full time, earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communications. During this time, she changed her focus to account management and in developing strategic marketing and communications campaigns, her natural business acumen came through. Her breadth of experience encompasses media sales, account development in advertising agencies, and marketing and communications management in both for profit and nonprofit organizations. Today, as the founder of True Story Communications, Linda works with purpose-driven entrepreneurs and leaders to integrate heart intelligence into their brands and workplace cultures. As a brand strategy coach, Linda pioneered a brand discovery process that uses the tools of HeartMath to support leaders in building conscious brands that are authentic, meaningful, impactful and ensure a promising legacy. She helps her clients by serving as brand architect, marketing strategist and a creator of compelling messages that inspire and drive engagement. 

Linda moved to New Mexico in 2001 and remains thoroughly enchanted with her husband and four dogs in Ojo Caliente, a rural community north of Santa Fe


Jack Etheridge

Vice President

Jack’s diverse range of knowledge, experience, and interests earned him the moniker of modern-day renaissance man. His experience in theatrical technical direction, sound design, production management, experiential marketing and systems integration, as well as project and program management for theme parks and other destination attractions led him to execute major projects for clients that included Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Studios, NASA, Sea World, MGM Grand, Sony, American Dream Meadowlands, and many others.

Jack has owned and operated several businesses, ranging from a critically acclaimed restaurant to a high-performance race shop, and has served on the theater and dance faculty at two universities. Jack has a lifelong love for music, drumming, audio reproduction and electronic design, and has created several innovative audio products. Jack is currently a Senior Client Solutions Executive with Cox Automotive where he is focused on transforming the way the world buys, sells, owns and uses cars.


ELAINE HAUSMAN

BOARD TREASURER

Elaine Hausman, Treasurer of Moving Arts Española, is the President of Rockridge Data Services in Cerrillos, NM, with her husband Dr. Robert F. Hausman, providing custom software design and bookkeeping services. As a strong supporter of youth arts in the community, Elaine was a founding director of the Santa Fe Youth Symphony in 1994. Elaine served as Treasurer and then Executive Director of the Moving People Dance Santa Fe from 2004 through 2009.


Ryan Begay

Ryan is a seasoned filmmaker with years of cinematic experience. Hailing from the Navajo Nation, Ryan works both in front of and behind the camera. His experience ranges from Short films to Feature Films and Commercials.  After his service in the US Air Force, he got his start at the Colorado Film School, and then moved to New Mexico to finish his Bachelors of Fine Arts in New Media Arts-Moving Images from the Institute of American Indian Art in Santa Fe. ​One of Ryan’s passion and intent for film is to create more content in the area of Native Cinema. Another is his love for acting!


Elmer Salazar

A native of Velarde, NM, Elmer Salazar is deeply committed to the communities and culture of Northern New Mexico. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Regional Development Corporation and is a past board member of the United Way of Northern New Mexico. Elmer is also the President of the Acequia de la Canova Commission in Velarde, NM and the President of the Acequia del Pinavetal Commission in Cebolla, NM. Mostly retired, Elmer continues consulting while enjoying farming, ranching, hunting, fishing, camping, and proudly serving as a Moving Arts Grandpa.

Elmer built a distinguished career at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he held a variety of leadership positions, including Business Development Executive in the Technology Transfer Division, HR Manager overseeing laboratory-wide recruitment, compensation, and benefits programs, and Communications and Records Manager responsible for secure classified records systems and communications operations. He later worked on special assignments for senior laboratory management, including Change of Station roles with Pete Domenici, Jeff Bingaman, Gary Johnson, Bill Richardson, as well as special projects for the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development. He also served as President and CEO of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. In addition, Elmer served at the Chairman of the statewide Governor’s Blue Ribbon Water Task Force under Governor Gary Johnson and Governor Bill Richardson.

Elmer earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business in 1977 and an MBA from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management in 1994.


Tad Witherington

After practicing law as a commercial litigator in Connecticut for 40 years, Tad retired to New Mexico with his wife, Holly Bray, in 2022. In his former life as a lawyer, Tad represented corporate and individual clients in a broad range of commercial and business disputes. Outside of his paying legal practice, Tad also represented abused and neglected children on a pro bono basis in the child welfare system, including court and administrative proceedings. He also served on a pro bono basis as a court-appointed Animal Advocate, providing information and recommendations to the court in animal cruelty cases. Tad is an experienced problem solver and a committed advocate for children and other underserved groups.

Tad is a graduate of Yale University (with a degree in English) and the University of Connecticut School of Law.
