INTRO TO CULINARY ARTS

This hands-on class teaches essential cooking techniques, recipe execution, and meal presentation, allowing students to develop confidence and creativity while exploring various cooking methods.

COST: $8/CLASS + $10 MATERIAL FEE DURATION: 90 MINUTES
AGE GROUP(S): 10+

INDOOR GROWING

This class offers hands-on experience in hydroponics and aquaponics—how to cultivate plants without soil, manage hydroponic systems, monitor pH levels, and contribute to a sustainable agriculture program.

TUMBLING

In this class, tiny tots develop confidence and gross motor skills, including tumbling and using trampolines, bars, and balance beams, with caregiver assistance to ensure comfort and focus.

STRETCH + STRENGTH

Stretch + Strength focuses on improving flexibility, building muscle strength, and enhancing overall fitness through a combination of stretching exercises and targeted strength training.

GYMNASTICS I

Gymnastics I is perfect for children new to tumbling. The class builds strength, flexibility, and coordination. Instruction focuses on proper technique, basic skills, and safety. Introduction to various apparatuses including beam, bar, and tumble track.

GYMNASTICS II

Gymnastics II emphasizes safety and proper technique as students sequentially advance their skills on various apparatuses, gaining confidence and self-discipline to master more challenging maneuvers like cartwheels and roundoffs.

GYMNASTICS III

Gymnastics III focuses on individualized growth, helping students build strength, flexibility, discipline, and confidence in executing skills, while safely taking risks with the support of experienced instructors.

GYMNASTICS IV

This by-invitation only class support students who have achieved mastery in gymnastics and are ready to take their skills to new heights and achieve their gymnastic goals.

BALLET II

Ballet II expands on Ballet I technique, focusing on body alignment, self-awareness, and confidence. Guided by experienced instructors, students develop skills like accountability and self-discipline that benefit them in life. Ballet slippers recommended.

BREAK DANCE I

Students develop a foundation of strength and gain the confidence to execute basic  movements. Hip Hop is an engaging and highly energetic class where students leave with a strong sense of self and a pride in their own physical strength.

FLAMENCO I

In the Flamenco I class  students begin to learn basic Flamenco footwork and the traditions of Flamenco. Rhythm and self expression are cultivated and physical ability is built upon to prepare students to confidently perform and prepare for the next level.

FLAMENCO II

This class challenges students to increase their ability through intricate footwork and the development of their own artistic expression. This class provides dancers with an outlet to express themselves and helps them to gain confidence.

FLAMENCO III

Flamenco III is for students who have experience with intricate footwork and works toward developing the dancer’s performative skills. Students in this class are offered more opportunities to perform and often perform outside of Moving Arts

FOLKLORICO  I

Folklorico I teaches the footwork necessary to begin and advance the  dancer’s Folklorico training. Students expand their physical ability while learning challenging choreography, footwork patterns. Students perform in front of a large audience, learn to work with other dancers, and shine on stage.

ADULT FOLKLORICO 

Adult Folklorico is a great opportunity to try something new, get your body moving, and have some fun. Students will learn to command the stage while discovering the rich history of Mexican Folk Dance along with the influences that make it the vibrant art form you see today.

DRAMA I

Drama I encourages students to explore their imagination, tackle memorization challenges, and use games to transform pretend play into coherent stories for an audience.

GUITAR I

Guitar I teaches students how to properly hold the guitar, various strums, and chords, preparing them to play a complete song by the end of the class. Guitars are provided during class.

GUITAR II

This class  is focused on expanding the knowledge of someone with some experience playing guitar. Students learn more difficult chord progressions and gain confidence to play alone and as a group.

KEYBOARD I

Keyboard I is a beginner class where students learn fundamental skills, proper hand placement, and collaborate to make music together, fostering a love for the keyboard and building confidence to perform. Keyboard are provided during class.

VIOLIN I

Violin I introduces students to proper posture, bow techniques, and scales, fostering confidence and mutual support in their learning journey. Violins are provided during class.

SINGING

This vocal training class helps students develop voice techniques, including breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal agility, through personalized instruction and both solo and group performances, fostering confidence and stage presence. Click here for more information.
