El Agua es Vida (Water is Life) is an evening of dance, live music, and visual art created and performed by Moving Arts students. The performance centers on water as a living thread through New Mexican land, culture, and community — and the generations of people who have fought to protect it. The young artists of Moving Arts bring New Mexico's acequia traditions to the Lensic stage.
For many of these students, Moving Arts is a second home — a place to explore, create, and find their voice alongside working artists and mentors who are invested in their growth.
The performance celebrates the stories of resilience and belonging, shaped into dance, music, and visual art by young people with real things to say.
