Lights! Camera! Action!

Moving Arts is proud to serve as a hub for Film Prize Junior New Mexico, a statewide short film competition for middle and high school students. Mentored by industry professionals, students will venture into the world of visual storytelling and learn the value of teamwork as they develop a concept, create a script, film, edit and produce a short  film to be entered into statewide  competition. Specific skills taught include storyboarding, lighting, and filming techniques to produce a compelling story. From pre to post production, students learn first-hand how to create a professional short film. Participants are also given the opportunity to act in their own film and support other teams in completing their film.
